You can take the prettiest portraits in the smallest places. Have an open mind, create your own backdrop you're own lighting and see what you come up with!

 This was the last photoshoot I did before leaving for India and a beautiful one it was. Model: Shayna Deschamps is such a photogenic girl. I'm so glad we became best friends and I found how photogenic she is. Aperture can be a Wonderful Thing.

 Aperture is awesome. Don't you agree? 

 I really had this urge to take pictures this one day in India, and unlike Canada you just can't go outside alone as a young girl and take pictures. It just isn't safe anymore, so I decided to challenge myself inside but really just play around. I got these beautiful EarPod headphones for Christmas, and shot this. I didn't want anything else but the headphones. APERTURE! 

A New Jennaration. No clouds? No worries!

This is one of my favorite photoshoots done with Model: Jenna Ruttle. Who happens to be one of my best friends HELLO BEAUTIFUL! Anyway, I'm a struggling photographer with no studio of my own and not much equipment but that never stops me from getting great light and texture in an image. Even though clody days are the best you can still make it work on hard light sunny days! Hard light is ever bad but if you have a certain image in your brain, get it done. Use shade! surround yourself with shade, it'll make up for the rainy days that don't show. Send me comments and feedback below, i'd love to hear what you guys think about these two shots.

What a day today!
Went out in the beautiful Toronto day, where it was positives in the degrees I must add to do some house shopping which is always fun right? Not. Not when you're me and you don't get much of a say in things but I'm over it, Mum tends to have good taste. Over all today is Dad's birthday, Happy Birthday Dad! 

Going Hipster Vintage.

So my most recent photoshoot was done yesterday which was the first one I did since I've been back in Canada! I wanted to do something a little more simple, and this look is becoming a trend I guess you can say but for the first time in a year or two I turned up my ISO to 1600 and kept the Aperture at 5.0 I believe and shot this beautiful model who happens to be my older sister!

Fresh Start To Shivo!

Hello bloggers!

An introduction would be nice right? I'm new to this but having a blog is perfect for me. Why? well...
My name is Shivani Sharma, but people call me Shiv or Shivo! I tend to just say that I'm a Fashion Photographer in the making, but I'm more than that. Other then being artistic, I love to workout and keep fit! Even though I recently started working out (Sept 30th 2012) I feel like a whole new person! I mean, I'm still me but just happier, healthier and I may glow a little more ;) I'm Hindu by blood but Canadian at heart and love it. I care way to much about my family and my 3 best friends. Jenna Ruttle who is an amazing singer, loyal person and just fun loving all around. Shayna Deschamps who is brilliant at anything she puts her mind too, she's a dreamer and a spontaneous girl to be around. And Amy Kloosterman, she's more then just a tough cookie but she's also a soft one too. She's my go to girl, and absolutely beautiful and honest. Every girl needs a friend like her trust me!
