Nude Nude Nude!

These are my two latest pictures I've taken. I really felt the need to try an all Nude photoshoot with my webcam since it was 11 pm so natural light was out of the picture. But please comment and tell me what you think about 1 or both looks! I kept it really simple by using concealer to hide those dark spots, oil free foundation, mascara and a MAC Nude lipstick :)

Hey everyone!
So, if you don't know who the name of my post is you've been living under a rock...seriously. This happens to be a music post which I don't do often! Hey music Mondays!? Just kidding. Chris Kamrada happens to be the drummer from one of my favorite bands There For Tomorrow.  Luckily for me I've happened to have already met him 2 years ago, it's been way to long AND I happen to have him on Facebook as well Oooo! Even better, Chris is so passionate and motivated doing what he loves he pursues it Solo over youtube He makes his own drum covers/remixes to songs such as The Wanted, Justin Bieber and More. He's an amazing guy with amazing plans, he recently came out with a clothing line called Collide which I'm dying to get, soon hopefully. He's accomplished many things such as travelling internationally, meeting great people and becoming very successful aside from There For Tomorrow. This was taken at Toronto Warped Tour 2011, I was only in grade 11 so you can see the braces..the excitement. Now that  DON'T have braces and have grown up I really would like to meet him again and talk to him longer. 

The Magical Ways of Threading!

Today's blog post is going to be about eyebrows! weird right? 
I myself have to get my eyebrows done every week, they grow back very fast and very thick which has its pro's and con's. It's a drag, and I'm not much of a face waxing person so thankfully my mom knew how to thread! So here is reality, a before picture of my eyebrows.

 As you can see my eyebrows get a little crazy by the end of the week, it's not something I'm proud of but it does have it's great moments such as growing out different shapes and changing it up!

Threading Facts: 
Leaves Eyebrows defined
Removes hairs and not skin like Waxing can cause
Very Fast and Simple Process
Pulls hairs from the roots which make it last longer
Creates artistic brows
Less Painful then Plucking

Here's my end result! amazing right? It's absolutely amazing and easy. Many people are getting it done now here in north america because it's becoming more popular. There may be ore stands in malls now and days where you can get it done and/or salons! give it a try and tell me what you think.

Rose Petal Baths

Yesterday I made use of the Roses my mother got for Valentines day from my sister. They weren't lasting very long so I took advantage of them by placing petals in my bath! why?

1. Rose Petals contain Vitamin A, C, D, and E and some B Vitamins. Rose Petals also contains antioxidants, and they are a mild sedative, anti-depressant, and mood-enhancing. Neat right?

2. Rose petals can be use for all kinds of skin ailments like eczema, psoriasis, and works great for sunburns.

3.It works well for a gentle detoxing agent.

4. Rose water is great for your scalp as well! nourishing, soothing, and getting rid of itchy flaky areas which is very common. It's also great for your hair, helping to increase blood flow to the hair follicles.

5. It's very cleansing and makes your skin soft! 

Overall just putting simple rose petals in your bath can help your body a lot, try it out :)

Awesome Aussie

Last night I had the perfect bath, filled with rose petals and softness and I came across an idea for a post. My shampoo! For years and years I've been trying out many different shampoos for my hair (please note that it's not healthy to do that) I went from Head and Shoulders to Herbal Essences to Loreal etc. Then a bit over a year ago I started using Aussie Moist Shampoo and Conditioner. My hair is so thick meaning it needs to be moisturized daily and cleaned every other day. Aussie has been PERFECT! for me at least! It leaves my hair silky smooth, smelling beautiful and leaving some extra shine. It really gives me happy hair :) and happy hair = happy shivo! 

Even using a little palm full leaves so many bubbles. I tend to get the 100 washes bottle it saves a lot of money when buying regular sized bottles.

I really recommend this to anyone who has a lot of dryness within the scalp and hair! It really pumps up the volume as well and leaves hair beautiful and fresh for days especially in the winter! :)

Hey everyone :)

I'm not feeling the greatest today, caught the lovely cold this season but in the meantime I love to keep myself busy working away on softwares! Happy Valentines day from me to you, if you're the kind of person who gets upset or "hates" valentines day well... maybe you need a better mind set. I think of it this way amazing deals on chocolates an stuffed animals and better time for flower shopping! SO instead of being a negative noodle about this day try being a little positive it makes a big difference. 
Spend valentines day with your girls! go to the movies, go shopping, have a spa day who cares do what you love today with the people who love you! Just because you don't have a man by your side doesn't mean you can't celebrate valentines day.
Me? I'm single but surrounded by people who love and care about me :) My sister also bought me chocolates YUM!

Mascara Madness!

 Hey Lovelies! 

Today I was on the phone with my best friend Jenna and she was telling me a bit about her blog and how she posted recent posts about makeup. I'll put a link to her blog at this end of this post so please check it out because she is super amazing and very talented! 

I've had my fair share of mascara's but my top 2 companies I use are Rimmel London and Maybelline! I'll be reviewing in my own opinion 1. The ones I've used and 2. The ones I want to try. 

Let's get started on a positive note!

Used and Approved:

Rimmel Londons Glam Eyes Mascara: Not only was this one of my favorites when it came out it's also age appropriate. And what I mean by that is that it really works well for young teenage girls, I would use this at 15 and it gave me the perfect amount of mascara with no clumps and no trashy-ness! It was light, it gave me length and a good amount of thickness that balanced well with my light makeup I use to use! I really recommend this mascara IF you're a light makeup user and don't want anything dramatic. It's super simple the brush is perfect and it's an everyday wearable mascara! Prices range from $6.00 to $8.00

 Rimmel Londons Max Bold Curves Mascara: If you're looking for something more flexible I would def recommend swapping your current mascara for this one! Looking at the brush you can see that it is curved, this is a step up from the Rimmel Londons Glam Eyes Mascara.  Max Bold Curves gives you...well Max Bold Curves!! No lie! It's still sweet and very sexy at the same time, the cool part is that the more you layer the thicker it gets and not all mascaras can do that without clumping! the brush is so nice against your lashes and it urves very well giving you fantastic length! Prices range from $6.99 TO $9.99

Rimmel Londons Sexy Curves Mascara: Time to move on from innocent to sexy, I bought this one a few years back and this was when I lost my mascara virginity... I went dramatic! I have long lashes as it is but this just took it to a whole new level! If you have short lashes fear no more because this will take it up a notch! Sexy curves gives very amazing length BUT the thickness is weak. If you're the kind of girl who loves length but not thickness I'd go for this purple pleasure. It's still very affordable as well, Price ranges from $6.99 to $9.99! 

Rimmel Londons Day 2 Night Mascara: So this this a really neat mascara, not only does this mascara give you volume it also gives you thickness ...with ANOTHER brush. I found this really neat looking so I took a chance with it. I loved it but it does relate to Rimmel Londons Glam Eyes because it still keeps your lashes suttle regardless of how many layers you put on. It gives better thickness more then length, so if you have long lashes already and just want to add some thickness I'd go for this one. Price Ranges from $7.99 to $9.99.

Maybelline XXL Extensions Mascara: I remember using this only a few times when I got it because of how much work it was. You can see the XXL line is two sided brushes, a white and a black. The white helps add length while the black coats over to keep it looking naturally (obviously) and to add length. I liked it but it wasn't anything exciting. I remember it being clumpy against my lashes (your's maybe different) but it also took a while to do. Mascara shouldn't be a process so no matter how great this bottle looks make sure you have time to actually use it and go! If you like taking your time or have the time of day to actually do that try this out! but if you're more "on the go" avoid it, other wise you'll end up with sloppy lashes and what girl wants that? 

Rimmel Londons Volume Accelerator: :Last but not least my all time FAVORITE and one I currently use is the Volume Accelerator. This mascara I can say was well worth my money, the brush is flat on the bottom but rounds on the top (holding it horizontally) and works wonders! This mascara gives me incredible length which is super important to me and ads a good amount of thickness. I usually layer this mascara twice to give me ultimate power on my lashes, I love to flaunt them what can I say? I know that I'll have another bottle of this in my makeup bag because it's absolutely worth the money spent!

These mascara's I really want to try! As you can see they're all Maybelline. I tend to use MORE Rimmel London then I do Maybelline when it comes to Mascaras but this 2013 I'm going to take the opportunity to expand my interest in Maybelline Mascaras. If any of you use these mascara's comment below on what YOU think about them and if I should spend my own money on them this year!

BIG MASCARA NO NO!

Keep a cheeky eye out for this Maybelline mascara NO NO. I used this mascara once and never again have I bought it. Not only did it give me horrible lashes, it gave me horrible stomach aches... why? this mascara smells SO bad that I couldn't bare to use it after a few tries. Unless my bottle came out bad, and my friends bottle that's just bad luck or it just sucks. 

Good Ol' Jessica Harlow!

    Hey lovelies, I'm going to do a little review on this lovely young women who goes by the name Jessica Harlow. For those of you who don't know who she is, you maybe living under a rock, sorry but... not completely sorry. If you really want to learn makeup, fashion and how to love yourself I suggest your #1 should go to Jessica. Not only is she well respected in the industry (so it seems to be) she's well known for her beautiful way of making others feel good about themselves. I've seen plenty of youtube makeup artist and I've really only seen Jessica Harlow make unique videos about loving who you are, becoming a better you and so on! 
       Let's get down to makeup, Jessica knows her stuff. I started off watching her over a year ago! she's helped me with so many different looks for school, photo shoots and just looks for a daily basis. My personal favorite for winter is "Snow Bunny"! For those of you who have an interest in makeup, I suggest you check her out on youtube as "MissJessicaHarlow" (memorized hehe) an scroll through! Looking good on the outside is nice but feeling better on the inside is what matters. She helps with that! 
I'm sure I'll be posting tuns more beautiful makeup artists that I'm interested in and love for you guys who don't know of them to check them out and end up spending long hours on youtube... sorry in advanced! 

The Festive 2013 Bikini Season!

 2013 is a whole new year for the Bikini era! Some of us want to stay the same, and some of us want to treat ourselves to some new styles of bikini's!
Well I don't blame you, I do too! last year Bikini's were all strapless and itty bitty as what I call them. Many girls got bikini's that didn't even really cup away their boobs... awkward right? sure was for me! BUT 2013 has new looks, fresh styles and I'm going to post some that may interest you. Lets get real here, not all of us girls feel that great about our image sometimes so wearing a bikini shouldn't make that worse. It should make you feel sexy! I'll be showing you my top 3 new favorites for this year :)

One of my favorite kinds of swim suits is the whole swim suit, not only does it show off your curves even more, they also range in different looks, styles and colours. Now a days you ca get strapless, netted, twisted, backless, open stomach etc! This kind of swim suit ranges in a variety for any kind of personality! I personally recommend these kind of swim suits to ANYONE! :) It works for any body type, shape and all! pretty perfect right? look into these at Bikini Village, Wal-Mart,  Aerie, VENUS and more.

This one is one that I'll be tracking down this summer! The BRA BIKINI! Exciting stuff, this bikini is usually made for girls who have a good small to mid size boob (from B cups to C cups) The cool thing about this Bikini is that it's not meant to be strapless, it's there to support the girls! my favorite part are the bottoms, common those frillies are the cutest! I'm in love with this look because you usually only see it on kids and babies, well now it's here for us women too! it just ads extra cuteness to the look. And if you look in the second photo of this kind it's got this cute wrap around in the middle of the bust, add's a little sexy right? The only thing I would recommend is that if you are a plus size in boobs this may look like you're falling out of it because this bra is almost like a push up, it does make boobs look larger then they appear! so if you're already a loaded bust take out the wiring and let those girls sit naturally because you have the advantage to flaunt them without a push up right! If you're more of a girly girl, have that bubbly cute personality this is the kind of swim suit for you!

Last is the new Bow Bikini! The bow bikini is kind of like the brand new Vintage... if that makes any sense at all?  It's really flattering and very sweet. It adds a little more uniqueness to the new bikini's, it's also a little cooler then the other ones look wise because usually Bow Bikini's have to be two piece but hey we'll see what designers come up with this year! This kind of bikini is def recommended to those with a more smaller boob size. In my opinion the highest I'd go is a C cup but if you can pull it off i a D go for it! Really cute, really pretty and def a confidence booster!

I absolutely love quotes, I live by them. They always inspire me to do better things in life even during the toughest times. My life isn't always peaches and tea but I get by with a little "unf" you know? Moving to the city is a big deal to me, more opportunities then I'd ever have in a small town. 2013 is a new beginning too find myself in a better light.

So this happens to be my cousin Natasha Sharma, beautiful isn't she? She never wears makeup like this, what  mean is the Lipstick, the Plum smokey eye etc. It's so gorgeous on her. She has the most beautiful features and beautiful tan skin! This reminded me of an H&M poster you'd see outside the store doesn't it? I may be bragging a little bit BUT I love this look! Hey guys, so today I was hunting for new makeup artists on youtube with the help of some twitter followers who suggested me some people. I was introduced to this lovely by my girl Rachel (@Rachel_Booze) and fell in love instantly. Not only is she a makeup channel she also does DIY and everyday girl issues. She finds the easiest solutions that apparently I had no common sense to think of! Please take a look, if you have skin issues such as me. I have oily skin and break out every so often as well as having body acne. I really wanted a fast acting treatment that doesn't involve too much money spending. I'm sure there are tuns of girls who think the same thing as me! so take a look :) I'm going to try this asap and see how the results turnout.
